Ombline Lafont, PhD student at Laboratoire Pierre Aigrain, testifies on the place of women in the scientific community during a meeting organized at ENS.
Her testimony is quoted in an article of the news website lemonde.fr.
The organization of this meetings follows the recent work of sociologists Marianne Blanchard, Sophie Orange, and Arnaud Pierrel on recruiting biases at ENS.
The ENS commissioned this work to understand the reasons of the small proportion of women in scientific fields. During this meeting, scientists from various fields mentioned the reasons which bring young women to self-censor.
This meeting is broadcasted as webseries in 6 episodes.
