Nicolas Regnault has been awarded the 2010 Bronze Medal of the CNRS, Which recognizes a resercher’s first work and highlights a person’s potential talent in a particular field. Nicolas Regnault’s work is devoted to the understanding of the emergence of exotic quantum phases through collective effects in condensed matter systems. The favorite tools of this young physicist are numerical simulations of quantum systems.
This distinction has been equally awarded to his collaborator Mark Goerbig (LPS-Orsay).
